Q. Why is Vecaro Lifestyle conducting this recall?
A. We are conducting this recall to keep our customer’s safe
and prevent injuries by removing the problem products.
Q. How can I tell if my hoverboard is affected by the recall?
A. If you purchased a hoverboard between November 2015 and November 2016 and the front of the hoverboard has model number Glide 65, Drift 8 or Trek 10 your hoverboard is affected by the recall.
Q. How can I take advantage of the recall?
A. Consumers should immediately stop using these recalled products and contact Vecaro to return their unit to receive a repair or a credit toward the purchase of a UL 2272 certified Vecaro Glide or Glide-X. In the event that you choose the repair option and your unit is not repairable, Vecaro will provide you with a free UL 2272 certfied unit free of charge.
Q. What is the problem with my hoverboarad?
A. The lithium-ion battery packs in the self-balancing scooters/hoverboards can overheat, posing a risk of smoking, catching fire and/or exploding.
Q. My hoverboard appears to be operating okay. Can I
continue to use it?
A. No. Even though your product appears to be safe,
we are asking all customers to immediately stop using the
product and participate in the recall by returning the
product to us for a free (repair or $200 store credit).
Q. I no longer have the receipt for the product. Can I still return it?
A. Yes. You can still return the product without a receipt.

Q. Will I receive a refund for the product?
A. No. You will either have your board repaired or have $200 store credit.
Q. How long will it take for me to receive the repaired hoverboard?
A. Please allow 6 weeks from the date you contacted
us. We apologize for any inconvenience, and assure you
we are working as quickly as possible to repair/replace
Q. Can I repair the product myself?
A. No. We urge you not to attempt to repair the product
yourself. Please return it to us immediately for a free
(repair or store credit)
